Surat: The total volume of water that arrived in Ukai dam this year was 12,040 MCM, against which 7,644 mcm water was released to sea via river Tapi which passes through the city of Surat. Ukai is Gujarat’s second largest dam. With relese of water, 27.49 crore power units were generated worth Rs. 220 crore in around two months span of monsoon this year. Ukai achieved full level for sixth continuous year in 2024. DeshGujarat
