HM Amit Shah Likely to Visit Gujarat on March 7-8

Ahmedabad: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to visit Ahmedabad on March 7 and 8. He is scheduled to arrive in the city on the evening of March 7.
On March 8, Shah will inaugurate a sports complex built at a cost of ₹61.67 crore in Vastral and also dedicate to the public the first phase of the Khari Cut Canal renovation project. The projects are aimed at strengthening urban infrastructure and promoting sports facilities in the city.
During his visit, Shah is also likely to hold discussions with leaders of the Ahmedabad city unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Meanwhile, the Gujarat BJP has announced district-wise and morcha-level appointments of party in-charges. In view of the upcoming municipal and panchayat elections, four general secretaries have been appointed as in-charges of key urban centres under their respective jurisdictions, including Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot.
