AMC to Hold Seva Setu Camps on March 5–6, Offering On-the-Spot Resolution of 55 Services

Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has announced the 11th Urban Phase of its “Seva Setu” programme, aimed at providing on-the-spot resolution of individual applications and facilitating access to various government welfare schemes. Two major events have been scheduled across multiple zones of the city, where as many as 55 types of services will be delivered directly to citizens.

Event Schedule and Locations

March 5, 2026 (Thursday): A joint programme covering the North West, South West and West Zones will be held at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, Bodakdev. The event will commence at 9:00 am, and applications will be accepted until 2:00 pm.

March 6, 2026 (Friday): A joint programme for the Central, East, North and South Zones will be organised at Lotus School, Viratnagar. The programme will begin at 9:00 am, with the application window closing at 2:00 pm.

Wide Range of Services

Under the Urban Eleventh Phase of Seva Setu, citizens will be able to submit individual applications for government scheme benefits and assistance, with efforts made to process them on the spot.

  • Ration card services: Addition, deletion and correction of names
  • Aadhaar-related services: Updating mobile numbers linked to Aadhaar
  • Certificates and welfare schemes:

    • Freeship Card for school and college admissions
    • Non-Creamy Layer Certificate
    • Widow Assistance
    • National Old Age Pension Scheme
    • Old Destitute Assistance
    • National Family Assistance Scheme (application acceptance)
    • Scheduled Tribe welfare services (applications)
  • Revenue services:
    • 7/12 (Satbar) and 8-A extracts
    • Inheritance applications in revenue records
  • Utility services:
    • Applications for domestic electricity connections
  • Urban and central schemes:
    • Pradhan Mantri SVANidhi Yojana
    • PMJAY (Ma) Yojana applications
  • Municipal services:
    • Property Tax-related services
    • Birth and Death Certificates
    • Marriage Certificates
    • Trade/Clerkship Certificates
    • Business Tax services
  • Transport concessions:
    • Bus pass applications for ST, AMTS and BRTS
  • Health services:
    • Disability Certificate
    • Age proof certification by Medical Officer
    • Health Wellness Card (Diabetes and BP verification)

Administrative Preparedness

To ensure smooth execution, nodal officers have been appointed for both events.

For the March 5 programme, Hardik Thakor, Assistant Municipal Commissioner (North West Zone), will serve as the Chief Nodal Officer, assisted by Pruthvirajsinh Zala, Rahul Sharma and Dhruv Patel.

The March 6 event will be led by Sarangbhai Modi as Chief Nodal Officer, with Harkishanbhai Vaghela serving as Assistant Nodal Officer.
