Newly elected president of Gujarat BJP Shri Vijay Rupani today delivering address at his installation function said he will sit at his office at party headquarters every Monday and Tuesday during 10.00 am to 6.00 pm and meet party workers from every corner of Gujarat.

Rupani asked party workers to look at year 2017 Gujarat assembly general election with Arjun’s focus on bird. He said small issues should be kept aside to achieve this Virat dream through which we will help Narendrabhai who is working hard at centre.

Rupani hailed party’s victory in municipality and municipal corporation polls and described party’s defeat in panchayat polls as bruise. He remembered Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s words that, ‘karyakarta kabhi harta nahi hain, jitata hai ya sikhta hai’. He also mentioned another line from Atalji, “Kabhi the hum akele, arre huye aaj hum itne, arre bhala tab nahi darre, to abb dar kaisa.”

Rupani said, “many people while congratulating me also alert me that this is a difficult job, but I believe that the post of the president of BJP is Vikramaditya’s Simhasan. Even if a common karyakarta sits there, the system of organization is so well set that he would gain strength, speed and justice.”

Rupani thanked party for elevating a small party workers to this level. He remembered his early days when he used to do wall painting for party campaign and also used to climb poles to tie banners. He said he was once into anti-Congress agitations and also went to jail under MISA.

Rupani said it is only this party in which a small karyakarta can become party president, elsewhere there are families.

He recalled Atalji’s lines: Yeh pad nahin hai, yeh dayitva hai, Yeh pratishtha nahin hai, yeh pariksha hai,Yeh sanman nahin hai, yeh chunauti hai(this is not position but a responsibility, this is not fame but a test, this is not honor but a challenge). He said he has been agreed to take this challenge on the basis of these lines of Atalji and one crore party workers from across Gujarat who are honest, dedicated, hardworking and work day and night for nation.

He said, power takes birth from organization, and the organization has to see that its ideological horizon is intact. He said Ayodhya mein Ram, Yovako ko kaam, Kisano ko sahi dam, mehngai pe lagam are main highlights of agenda.

Rupani remembered party leaders from past era Shri Vasantrao Gajendragadkar, Nathalal Jhagda, Harisinh Gohil, Chimanbhai Shukla, Makrandbhai Desai, Arvindbhai Maniyar, Suryakant Acharya, Ashok Bhatt, Kashmiram Rana and past party presidents Keshubhai Patel, Vajubhai Vala, Rajendrasinh Rana, Parshottam Rupala and RC Faldu.

He admired Chief Minister Anandiben Patel for her welfare schemes and other works and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for giving scam free government in centre.

Speaking more about the Prime Minister, Rupani said, Modi paid sudden visit to Pakistan and gave message that India Army can also reach there in same way one day if terror attacks continue.

He said, “today is Shivaji Maharaj’ birth anniversary and Shivaji had eleminated one Afzal who was anti-national. Today there’s a new battle. There another Afzal who was anti-national and Congress people call him Guru Ji. Tributes are paid to him and Congress people go to JNU to help such traitors who chant slogans like ‘Pakistan Zindabad’. Terrorists are called martyr by them and Congress help such traitors. Congress has gone so down for vote bank politics.

Rupani concluded his speech with Guruji(RSS second Sarsanghchalak)’s words: Vijay hi vijay hai, bas vijay hi vijay hai.
