BJP man Paresh Dani’s panel was victorious in Ahmedabad’s Rajpath club managing committee election. Dani’s panel gave massive defeat to well known builder NG Patel’s panel. However Dani’s all 30 panel members could not secure victory. NG Patel was successful to enter Dani’s unchallenged fort with his panel’s six victorious candidates including himself. Dani controls Rajpath club for last seven years and he retains his control after today’s victory with 24 candidates of his panel winning the election.

Rajpath election’s counting went on for whole night and entire morning. The result was declared in afternoon after six rounds of counting. Dani’s victory’s official announcement was made at 4.00 pm in Annual General Meeting of the club.

Though satisfied with voting process, defeated NG Patel seemed not satisfied with the counting process. However Patel didn’t clear whether he would approach court to challenge the result, or simply accept his defeat.

Ex Mayor of Ahmedabad Shri Amit Shah, Ex-Deputy Chief Minister Narhari Amin, BJP’s election cell convener Parindu Bhagat(Kakubhai who was also a candidate in club election) were seen at counting hall of Rajpath club.
