While the locals were not ready to free the person, the police was of opinion that first a person should be questioned properly and then only a legal procedure can be initiated against him.
The crowd of angry local women however was not ready to listen, and started pelting stones over police station.
According to sources, one lady is injured by tear gas shell lobbed by police.
A person detained by police was drunk.
