Was made complainant without my knowledge: Security Guard of Salangpur Hanuman Temple

Botad: The security guard of the Salangpur Hanuman temple, Bhupat Sadulbhai Khachar, who is a complainant against Harshad Gadhvi, the individual accused of putting black paint on the controversial murals at the temple two days ago, has in a video, revealed that he was made the complainant in the case without his knowledge.

In the video, Bhupat said, “I work as a security guard at Salangpur Hanumanji Temple. I was on duty on the day of the mural painting incident. Shortly after the incident, I was called to the office and asked if I was present at the scene, to which I confirmed my presence. Later in the evening, a document was signed in the office. Later, I learned through social media that I was designated as a complainant in this case.”

Upon finding this, he clarified that he had not willingly become a complainant and emphasized that he was disclosing this information without any external pressure. He expressed regret if the Charan community or any other community had been offended by his unintentional involvement as a complainant and reaffirmed his innocence.

A complaint was filed by Bhupat Sadulbhai Khachar, hailing from Sethli village, against three individuals for the act of applying black paint to the murals at the Salangpur Hanumanji temple. A police report was lodged against Harshad Gadhvi, Jasing Bharwad, and Baldev Bharwad on the same day as the incident. The police have registered a case against the three individuals under various sections of the law, including E.P.Co. 295(A), 153(A), 427, 506(2), 120(B), and GP ACT No. 135, and have initiated legal action against them. However, the complainant has now revealed through a video that he was included as a complainant without his consent. DeshGujarat
