Minimum temperature rises in parts of Gujarat; Ahmedabad reports 17°C, Baroda at 16.8°C

Ahmedabad: The minimum temperature in several parts of Gujarat rose slightly, with Ahmedabad registering 17°C, 3.6°C above normal, and the state capital Gandhinagar witnessing 15.5°C.

According to the daily weather report of the India Meteorological Department, Naliya recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 8.6°C, which was 2.5°C below normal. Baroda was also not very chilly at 16.8°C, while Bhavnagar reported a minimum temperature of 17.4°C. Coastal towns like Dwarka and Okha recorded 19.8°C and 20.8°C, respectively. Surat, in South Gujarat, reported 17.2°C.

No rainfall was recorded across the state. The relative humidity at 08:30 IST varied, with Daman reporting the highest at 88%. DeshGujarat
