Gujarat Science City celebrates birthdays of three newborn penguins

Ahmedabad: Three newborn penguins at Gujarat Science City have been named Balu, Daisy, and Kiara.
The birthdays of these African newborn penguins were celebrated at Gujarat Science City.
African penguins are native to Namibia and the coastal regions of South Africa. They are listed as a near-extinction species by the IUCN. Due to overfishing, climate change, and other factors, their population has declined by 97%, with only 19,800 penguins remaining in the world.
Visitors to Gujarat Science City can view these newborn penguins in the Penguin Gallery, located within the Science City’s Aquatic Gallery. — DeshGujarat
