New Delhi: NTPC Green Energy Limited has announced the commencement of commercial operations of an additional 165 MW solar power capacity at its Khavda-II Solar PV Project in Gujarat.
According to the stock exchange filing, the newly commissioned capacity is part of the 1,200 MW Khavda-II Solar PV Project, being developed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited. The fourth part capacity of 165 MW was declared under commercial operation with effect from 00:00 hrs on March 19, 2026.
Following the addition, the total commercial capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited group has increased to 9,562.68 MW. With the commissioning of the new unit, the overall installed capacity of the group has risen to 9,727.68 MW, the company stated.
