Gandhinagar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has nominated Jitendra Meghjibhai Kanzariya as one of its candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections from Gujarat. Hailing from Devbhumi Dwarka district, Kanzariya is a relatively young leader from the Other Backward Classes (OBC) community and has experience in local self-governance.

Born on December 4, 1986, Kanzariya belongs to the Sathvara community, which is classified under the OBC category. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree and a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree.

Kanzariya has been associated with politics and public service in the coastal region of Gujarat. He previously served as a member of the Executive Committee (Karobari Samiti) of the District Panchayat.

Given the BJP’s strength in the Gujarat Assembly, Kanzariya, along with the party’s three other nominated candidates, is set to be elected to the Rajya Sabha later this month. DeshGujarat
