Who is Mukesh Rathwa, upcoming Rajya Sabha Member of BJP from Gujarat?

Gandhinagar: The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has nominated Mukeshbhai Rathwa as one of its candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections from Gujarat. A tribal leader from Chhota Udaipur district, Rathwa has been actively involved in the party organisation and youth politics for several years.

Born on June 1, 1986, Rathwa belongs to the Rathwa tribal community and hails from Chhota Udaipur district in eastern Gujarat. He holds multiple postgraduate qualifications, including M.A., M.Ed., ITI, and LL.B.

Rathwa currently serves as the General Secretary of the BJP’s Chhota Udaipur district unit. Over the years, he has held several key positions within the party’s youth wing, helping strengthen the BJP’s organisational network, particularly among young voters and tribal communities.

He previously served as Vice President of the BJP Yuva Morcha’s Gujarat unit and was also entrusted with the responsibility of Surat City Yuva Morcha In-charge (Prabhari).

Given the BJP’s strength in the Gujarat Assembly, Rathwa, along with the party’s three other nominated candidates, is set to be elected to the Rajya Sabha later this month. DeshGujarat
