Ahmedabad: A girl playing in an apartment in the Nehrunagar area of the city met with a tragic end when a car tire ran over her. After the shocking CCTV footage of the incident emerged, the police registered a case and arrested the accused, who is currently being interrogated. The CCTV footage is disturbing, showing an innocent child approaching a car before the driver rolls the tire over her. A woman then pulls her out from under the car, a sight that deeply unsettled the onlookers.

The incident occurred yesterday at the Kalaniketen apartment when a 1 year 2 months old Aastha was playing outside and approached the car, standing in front of it. Instead of moving the child away from the car, the driver moved forward, and the car tire rolled over the innocent girl, resulting in her tragic death.

According to the police, the victim is the daughter of 26-year-old Mahaveer, who works as a security guard in the apartment where he resides with his wife. Mahaveer had gone to buy vegetables nearby when the incident happened. Soon after, he received a call informing him that a car had run over his daughter.

The girl was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, but doctors declared her brought dead. The police conducted an investigation and registered a case of accidental death at the A division police station.
