Gandhinagar: The by-elections for the Kadi and Visavadar Assembly constituencies are scheduled to be held on June 19, 2025. With the election campaign heating up, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a list of 40 star campaigners who will campaign for its candidates in both seats.

The list of star campaigners includes State BJP chief C.R. Patil, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, former Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani, former Deputy CM Nitin Patel, Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Nimuben Bambhaniya, and other senior leaders such as Shri Parshottambhai Rupala, Ratnakarbhai, Jitubhai Vaghani, Gordhanbhai Zadafia, along with several ministers from the Gujarat cabinet.

The elections will be held on June 19, and the counting of votes will take place on June 23. The Kadi seat became vacant following the death of BJP MLA Karshan Solanki, while the Visavadar seat in Saurashtra was vacated after the sitting AAP MLA Bhupendra Bhayani resigned and later joined the BJP.
