Gandhinagar: On Sunday, Daskroi in Ahmedabad district had whopping 9.29 inch rainfall during 6 am to 2 pm period. 9.29 inch rain comes in bracket of extremely heavy rainfall. Heavy to very heavy rainfall was received in Kheda district in this period. Mahemdavad had 7.44, Nadiad 7.28, Matar 6.06, Kathlal 4.72, Vaso 4.61, Mahudha 3.94, Kheda 3.78 inch rainfall. Water logging, disruption in traffic and localize flood was witnessed in Kheda therefore. Umreth in nearby Kheda district also had 3.78 inch rainfall.  Desar, Galteshwar, Bavla, Bhabhar, Dhlka, Patan, Bhiloda had above 3 inch rainfall. Anand, Visnagar, Vadgam, Vansda, Saraswati, Sidhpur, Vaghai, Subir, Kankrej had above 2 inch rainfall. These figures are just for the period of 6 am to 2 pm.
