Rajkot: Adrev is Gujarat Police's first alcohol detection dog. It can find alcohol hidden in any place, using any trick. Recently in Rajkot, Adrev completed its first assignment by locating liquor in the house of a woman in Mafatiyapara area in Dhebar Colony in Rajkot. Liquor permit to cost more in Surat

Surat: Those requiring a liquor consumption permit for health reasons in Surat will need to pay more. Surat city and district currently have over 12,500 liquor permit holders. Effective from 15 October, the new liquor permit will cost Rs. 25,000, instead of the earlier rate of Rs. 10,000. The renewal rate for the permit will be Rs. 20,000, instead of the earlier Rs. 5,000.
