Pakistan industrialists invite Narendra Modi to Pakistan


Gandhinagar, 9 December, 2011

A business delegation from Pakistan today called on Gujarat Chief Ministr Narendra Modi in Gandhinagar and invited Shri Modi to visit Pakistan on the subject of business opportunities in Gujarat and possible partnership in this connection. Pakistani delegation members also invited Gujarat Chief Minister so address the captains of industries in Pakistan under the banner of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industries.

A group of Karachi’s Textile chemical manufacturers is in Gujarat to participate in Asia color chemicals mega exhibition in Ahmedabad.

During their meeting with the Chief Minister, Textile industrialists Zafar Ahmed, Asif Iqbal Hada, Adam, Nasir among others showed deep interest in developing a partnership with Gujarat in the area of textile.

Chief Minister Modi pointed out that growing economic relations can play major rold in making political bonds between two states stronger.

Pakistani industrialists wished direct air service connecting Ahmedbad and Karachi. They pointed out that Sindh and Gujarat are geographically connected.

They invited the Chief Minister to address the captains of commerce and industry of Pakistan’s Karachi Chamber via video conference. Shri Modi accepted this invitation.

A meeting of the industrialists who are originally from Gujarat but settled in Pakistan was arranged by Naroda’s Rajdut enterprise’s Dinkar Shah and Bhargav Oza. Paksitani delegation members honored Shri Modi wish shawl and had a photo with him.
