Gujarat govt extends online application deadline for farmer relief package
November 28, 2025
Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government has extended the deadline for submitting online applications under the ₹10,000-crore agricultural relief package announced for farmers affected by recent unseasonal rains in the state. The application window, which initially remained open for 15 days from November 14, has now been extended by seven days until December 5, 2025, an official statement said.
The extension aims to ensure that no eligible farmer is left out of the assistance process.
Agriculture Minister Jitubhai Vaghani has urged farmers who have not yet applied to complete their applications within the extended deadline. He reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring maximum coverage under the relief package, which was announced in record time following widespread damage to standing crops due to extraordinary unseasonal rainfall.
The online application portal krp.gujarat.gov.in was activated on November 14 to facilitate swift processing of claims. DeshGujarat
