SG Highway under GoG control, flyover at Vaishnodevi circle likely

The National Highway Authority of India(NHAI) has accepted Gujarat government proposal and hand over the control of Sarkhej – Gandhinagar highway to the state government.
The state government is now planning for six lane conversion of this highway with two new over bridges – one at Vaishnodevi circle and another on Sindhu Bhavan cross road, survey for which will be carried out soon.
Patel said the procedures for Bhavnagar express-way will start soon. The proposed highway will pass through Fedra, Pipli and Dholera.
He said the state government has been permitted to construct six highways including Radhanpur-Charada, Bhimasar(Kutch)-Khavda, Limbdi-Knda, Mahuva-Jetpur Ahva-Pipaliya and Dhoraji-Jamnagar.
