Senior Congress MLA Shri Jashubhai Dhanabhai Barad who was representing Talala constituency from Saurshtra region of Gujarat passed away today after long illness related to tumor. He was admitted to a private hospital in Ahmedabad for last some time.

Gujarat Congress spokesperson Manish Doshi when contacted confirmed the sad news.

Born in 1955, Shri Barad was also the member of parliament in 14th Lok Sabha. He had been cabinet minister of water resources and irrigation in Gujarat.

Shri Barad’s body has been taken to Talala where last rites will be conducted.
