GUJCOST to take 1.17 lakh students to Science Centres in over 2000 GSRTC buses

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST) today launched a program offering free visits to Science City and Regional Science Centers (RSCs) for school students across the state. These visits will be available from Tuesday to Friday over the next two months.
School students will have the opportunity to explore nearby science centers and learn about science. GUJCOST has arranged a total of 2,113 buses through GSRTC, at a cost of Rs. 5.42 crore, to facilitate these visits. This initiative aims to benefit 2,113 schools and 117,000 students across all 33 districts of Gujarat.
Each district’s Science Centers will receive a bus from the nearest ST Depot to transport students to Science City and the science centers.
Specially guided and curated tours are organized at Gujarat Science City in Ahmedabad and at regional science centers in Patan, Bhuj, Bhavnagar, and Rajkot. These tours include gallery visits, STEM workshops, interactive sessions, hands-on demonstrations, and quizzes. DeshGujarat
