GSRTC Revises Daily Passenger Pass Scheme, Offers Up to 50% Fare Relief
August 19, 2026
Gandhinagar: The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has revised its Daily Passenger Pass Scheme, reducing the effective fare for regular commuters by up to 50%.
The decision is aimed at providing financial relief to lakhs of employees, traders and other daily passengers travelling by ST buses across the state.
Under the revised scheme, the monthly pass will now cost the equivalent of 15 days’ fare, down from the earlier 18 days’ fare, while allowing travel for 30 days.
Similarly, the quarterly pass will now cost 45 days’ fare instead of 54 days’ fare, allowing passengers to travel for 90 consecutive days.
The corporation said the revised pass structure will benefit more than 2.5 lakh daily commuters and encourage greater use of GSRTC’s public transport services. DeshGujarat
