Kharif MSP procurement registration resumes on e-Samruddhi portal after first-day crash
September 02, 2025
Gandhinagar: Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel stated that online registration for procurement at Minimum Support Price (MSP) for peanuts, green gram, black gram, and soybeans in Gujarat began on September 1. On the first day, due to a large number of farmers registering simultaneously, the e-Samruddhi portal experienced heavy traffic and crashed, preventing farmers from completing their registration.
Upon learning this, the Agriculture Department made continuous efforts to update and restore the portal. As a result, registration resumed from September 2. Farmers can complete their registration until September 15. The Minister added that, if necessary, the registration deadline will be extended to ensure that no farmer in the state is left out.
Minister Raghavji Patel urged farmers to take adequate time for registration and requested them to cooperate without rushing unnecessarily. DeshGujarat
