BJP Announces Statewide ‘Sardar@150’ Unity Marches Across Gujarat

Ahmedabad: Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Gujarat unit president Jagdish Vishwakarma on Saturday announced a series of ‘Sardar@150’ Unity Marches to be held across the state in honour of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 150th birth anniversary.

Addressing the media, Vishwakarma said that at least three such yatras will be organized in each Lok Sabha constituency, ensuring coverage of all 182 assembly seats of Gujarat.

“The first yatra will begin on November 9 in Junagadh, in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel,” he said. “On November 16, I will attend the yatra in Nikol, and on November 17, the Chief Minister will participate in the yatra at Ghatlodiya assembly constituency in Ahmedabad.”

He further informed that Union Ministers Mansukh Mandaviya, Nimuben Bambhaniya, and other senior leaders will also take part in these yatras. Each march will begin from statues of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, covering a route of 8 to 10 kilometres.

Vishwakarma added that the Unity Marches will also witness participation from social organizations, notable citizens, and NGOs, reflecting a spirit of inclusivity and collective tribute to the Iron Man of India.

The series of yatras aims to spread Sardar Patel’s message of unity, integrity, and nation-building across every corner of Gujarat. DeshGujarat
