Man Assaults Toll Staff, Damages Barricade at Vaghasiya Toll Plaza; Video Goes Viral

Wankaner: A case has been registered against a man for passing a vehicle without paying toll tax at the Vaghasia toll plaza near Wankaner and for assaulting staff. In the incident, the accused also beat up a toll booth employee and threatened to kill him.
The incident took place on April 8 at around 12:30 am. The driver of a Bolero vehicle (GJ 10 TY 0847) passed through the toll plaza without paying the toll, damaging the boom barricade.
During the incident, the accused allegedly quarrelled with the toll booth employee, physically assaulted him, and threatened to kill him.
In this connection, the manager of Vaghasia toll plaza, Mukeshkumar Nirbhaykumar Sudhanshu, has filed a complaint at Wankaner City Police Station. The complaint names the accused as Sanjay Singh Zala of Vaghasia village.
Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case and are conducting further investigation to arrest the accused.
