IMD Forecasts Further Heavy Rains, Thunderstorms in Parts of Gujarat ; 7-Day Bulletin here

Gandhinagar: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has in its latest forecast bulletin on Saturday evening predicted further rains in days to come. It’s worth noting that Gujarat is going to witness a ten-night long Navratri festival starting from Monday this year. While the state is already rain soaked in last two days before Navratri, IMD has in its bulletin predicted rainfall in parts of Gujarat at least in initial part of Navratri. Following are the highlights of the latest bulletin that covers seven days period. The predictions are changeable in days to come.
Day 1 (20–21 Sept 2025)

North Gujarat: Light to moderate rain/thundershowers at a few places (Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, Mahisagar).

South Gujarat: Rain at many places (Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad, Daman, Dadra & Nagar Haveli).

Saurashtra: Rain at a few places (Surendranagar, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Morbi, Dwarka, Gir Somnath, Botad, Diu).
