Gujarat CM launches Rs. 337 crore development works in Vinchhiya belt of Jasdan

Rajkot: Gujarat Chief Minister today launched Rs. 337 crore development works in Vinchhiya area of Jasdan in Rajkot district.
The Chief Minister kicked off SAUNI Yojana link-4 package 9 works for iirgation facility to farmers He also distributed Rs. 28.94 lakh equipment to 214 handicapped persons. The Chief Minister also kicked off the works for Rs. 139 crore group water supply scheme.
The Chief Minister dedicated Rs. 5.15 crore major bridge over river Ghelo. He dedicated Rs. 2.11 crore new bus-stand at Atkot, Rs. 9.o1 crore ITI college.
Under SAUNI yojana link 4, phase-3 a feeder pumping station will be set up near Asalpur village of Vinnchiya taluka. The water will be taken to Dharai village. Under link 4 package 9 total 72.856 km pipeline network will connect 12 ponds, benefiting over 45,000 people across 23 villages, covering 6,676 acres for irrigation and drinking water supply.
The Chief Minister in this function also distributed land rights to 133 families from tribes.
IN total Rs. 337.06 crore development works were launched in which SAUNI link-4 package-9 works are worth Rs. 181 crore, Bhadla and Vinchhiya group water supply works are worth Rs. 139 crore, Ghelo river bridge is worth Rs. 5.15 crore, Rs. 2.11 crore new bus-stand at Atkot and Rs. 9.01 crore new ITI are included.
