Ahmedabad: Following are the rainfall figures recorded within the limits of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) between 6 am and 4 pm on Thursday. The highest rainfall was recorded in the Bopal ward at 8.7 inches, followed by Sarkhej, which got 8 inches of downpour. Other wards that received over 6 inches of rain till 4 pm today are Vasna, Bodakdev, Science City, Gota, Chandlodiya, Thaltej, Memnagar, Jodhpur, Jodhpur Zonal, Maktampura, Sarkhej Urban Health, and Bakrol.

Zone-wise, the South West Zone of AMC received the highest average rainfall at 7.7 inches (196.14 mm), followed by the North West Zone at 5.5 inches (141.43 mm) and the West Zone at 4.3 inches (109.50 mm). The city-wide average rainfall stood at 3.7 inches (95.90 mm) during the period.
