Another senior Congress leader in Ahmedabad detected positive for Covid19

Ahmedabad: Another senior Congress leader in Ahmedabad has been detected positive for Covid19. Badruddin Sheikh, a senior Congress councilor in Amdavad Municipal Corporation has been detected positive. He was home quarantined two days ago and procedure of his hospitalization is underway as now he has been detected positive, said Municipal Commissioner Vijay Nehra in his briefing to media persons.
Sheikh has been leader of opposition in AMC and also a Spokesperson of Gujarat Congress.
Nehra said Jamalpur-Khadia MLA Imran Khedawala who was detected positive for Covid19 yesterday has been admitted to SVP hospital of AMC and his treatment has started. His condition is stable. Twow other MLAs Gyasuddin Siekh and Shailesh Parmar who visited Gandhinagar yesterday with Imran to attend a meeting called by Chief Minister are home quarantined and their samples have been sent to laboratory for Covid19 test.
Nehra said contact tracing in the case of Imran Khedawala has started.
