MGVCL cuts power supply to streetlights in Balasinor and Dakor for non payment of bills

Mahisagar: Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Limited (MGVCL) has cut the connections of streetlights in Balasinor and Dakor municipalities for not paying the electricity bill.
MGVCL had issued a notice to Balasinor municipality to pay Rs 2.83 crore as the due amount of the electricity bill. MGVCL cut the 22 connections of streetlights in Balasinor municipality as the amount was not paid. MGCCL had cut the streetlight electricity connections 1.5 months ago in Balasinor for not paying the bill. It was resumed after 3 days. Around Rs 18 lakh was paid to MGVCL for the electricity bill. MGVCL has cut the streetlight connections in Dakor for the last 3 days for not paying an amount of Rs 1 crore 63 thousand. DeshGujarat
