Vadodara hosts Sixth Marathi Food Festival at Kirti Stambh

Vadodara: The sixth edition of the Marathi Food Festival, organized by Chaitanya Marathi Bhashik Mandal, will be held on December 27 and 28 at the exhibition ground near Kirti Stambh. The two-day event will offer visitors a chance to savor a variety of authentic Marathi dishes. Special stalls have also been set up for Gruh Udyogs, providing them a platform to showcase their products.
Milind Bodse, President of Chaitanya Marathi Bhashik Mandal, said the organization was established in 2005 with the aim of preserving Marathi identity, culture, and traditions. “Throughout the year, we organize programs during festivals such as Ganeshotsav, Sharad Purnima, and Deepavali. The food festival is also intended to encourage participation and enthusiasm among women of the Marathi community,” he added.
Visitors can enjoy delicacies prepared by local housewives, including Puran Poli, Ukdiche Modak, Sol Kadhi, Jhunka-Bhakar, Pune Misal, Misal Pav, Kolhapuri Tadka, Vada Pav, and Thalipeeth. The festival will run daily from 5 pm to 10 pm and will be inaugurated by MP Hemang Joshi. DeshGujarat
