Ahmedabad: Late former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani’s probably last picture has come to light. Rupani died in the Air India plane crash last week in Meghaninagar area of Ahmedabad.

Bharatiya Janata Yova Morcha (BJYM) Gujarat, Secretary Jay Shah has shared probably the last photo of late Vijaybhai Rupani. Shah in his Instragram post stated in Gujarati – ‘This is the last photo of our Vijaybhai Rupani sir at airport lounge. My friend Bimalbhai Parmar works as man power supply passed it to me.

Meeting an ordinary airport employee with so much smile, talking and laughing and clicking photo… Sir was really popular in sense… We all have to go one day but Rupani Saheb has become immortal in the memory of people, in the hearts of the people, every community says that Rupani Saheb was our leader, and such leader was not seen before. All communities are showering love. And for the political workers, if you understand Rupani Saheb’s life then you will be successful in public life… So many memories… So many emotions… Hundreds of blessings… We don’t need to say Vijaybhai Rupani Amar raho. He is Amar in hearts of people due to his simple nature and his deeds.’

Rupani in his last photo can be seen standing with Adani airport staffer who wished to have a photo with the ex-CM at the airport lounge.

Rupani was also seen in two videos – one captured in a lounge by CCTV cameras, and the other in which he was accidentally captured in a social media video on Instagram captured by a foreigner in the airport complex itself. DeshGujarat
