Gandhinagar: Gujarat has reported 40 fresh cases of covid infection in 24 hours against recovery of 27 covid patients and death of none. The State has 275 active covid cases.

Among cities, Ahmedabad reported 10 fresh cases, Jamnagar and Vadodara – 7 each, Surat – 4, Bhavnagar – 2 and Gandhinagar – 1.

Among districts, Navsari reported 3 fresh cases while Kutch reported 2 fresh cases. Anand, Gir Somnath, Vaoddara and Valsad reported 1 fresh case each.

Over 5.38 lakh doses of covid vaccines were administered in a day, taking the statewide total so far above 8.10 crore. These details were shared by the State health department today in its daily bulletin. DeshGujarat
