Hazira – Suvali beach travel to be smoother; NHAI to build two flyover bridges

Surat: Two new flyover bridges will come up at the cross roads near Kavas patiya and at Petrol-pump char rasta near Reliance company in Hazira area of Surat. They will be built by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). They will be built at a total cost of Rs. 152 crore. Tender process is already underway for this project.
Representations for these flyovers were made by local MLA Sandip Desai and Lok Sabha MP CR Patil. Both over bridges will make journey from Hazira to Suvali beach smoother. It’s worth noting here that the government has approved Rs. 48 crore for development of Suvali beach, in which Rs.7 crore will be spent for construction of a road, Rs. 2020 crore for restrooms’ and Rs. 30 lakh for toilet blocks.
