Leader of opposition in Gujarat assembly and Congress leader Shri Shaktisinh Gohil was today taken to Gandhinagar Civil hospital after complain of chest pain.
Gohil who lives in Gandhinagar complained chest pain just before noon today. He was immediately taken to Gandhinagar civil hospital.
The doctors told DeshGujarat that Gohil had initial symptoms of heart attack.
“It’s golden period at present, and possible heart attack can be treated at this time,” the doctors added.
Gohil, accompanied by senior doctors was later taken to Ahmedabad’s SAL hospital for in VIP ambulance.
A doctors team led by Dr. Tejas Patel performed angioplasty on Gohil.
According to SAL hospital statement Gohil suffered severe heart attack and one of his five artery was 100% block. He has been taken to Intensive Care Unit after operated for angioplasty. He will be under medical observation for next 24 hours and medical supervision for next 72 hours thenafter.
Doctors are permitting no one to see Gohil.
Gujarat Health minister Shri Jaynarayan Vyas visited SAL hospital at around 1.30 pm. Gujarat Congress President Shri Arjun Modhwadia reached SAL hospital at around 1.00 pm along with the other Congress workers.
Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi is likely to visit the hospital today evening.
Gohil is leader of opposition in Gujarat Assembly and MLA from Bhavnagar.

We all have our own opinion and we all have our likes and dislikes. Shaktisinh has suffered heart attack today and May god bless him and I wish him speedy recovery.
So, BJP candidates do not get heart attack? We all do and our life starts and ends in micro seconds.
Planet earth exist for last 6.2 billion years. Human exists in last 1,50,00,000 years. And if we are lucky and if we do not die in accidental deaths we could live about 100 years. If nothing goes wrong with the solar system, Life can exist another 400 million years. So if we compare our lives in this time frame we live and die in microseconds. It has nothing to do with BJP,Congress or any other political parties. Even these parties will be gone in few years. Just like the countries.
How india used to look geographically 1000 years back and how does it look today? And which party or which political leaders we can blame? And if we can blame, can we reach that person or find him?
So my friends every thing is written and has thier own destiny.

A former Youth Congress leader on Monday created a flutter by accusing Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi of depending too much on his trusted men whom he charged with turning the student and youth wings of the party into a mess.
Chamala Kiran Kumar, who claimed to be the IYC general secretary of Kerala [ Images ], Puducherry, Tamilnadu, Andaman Lakshadweep alleged, “Rahul ji lost human touch and he hardly recognises his national committee and moreover he depends on his trusted men to handle most of the things.”
He also said Gandhi’s pet project ‘Aam admi ka sipahi’ was a ‘major flop’ and his idea of transforming NSUI and Youth Congress is good but the way it has been implemented has turned the two wings of the party into a “mess”.

In his detailed press note, Chamala said that Gandhi’s trusted men adopted the corporate policy of “Hire, test and fire” which is not at all a suitable concept for a political party where people work voluntarily.
He also accused Gandhi of failing to fulfil his promise of accommodating 30 per cent of the youth in upcoming general elections and local bodies.
Chamala said, “In the present system if people are planning to become leaders in Youth Congress and NSUI, they should have money to buy membership and manage election. The average cost to become state president in bigger state is in crores and in smaller states at least Rs 20-50 lakhs.”
He said though Rahul Gandhi was running the present youth Congress and NSUI on laptops and Blackberry’s with fast communication, reporting and updating websites on a regular basis, “but frankly speaking youth Congress for last two years is only on news reports and websites not at the grassroots.”
Alleging a coterie culture in Youth Congress also, he said “whoever is straight forward and wants to point out the issues has been kept away and thrown out from the personal organization so rudely by his coterie.”
Chamala said it was “most humiliating” that he was kept away from his duties as general secretary for the last 4 months without giving proper letter or any communication and rued that he was not even given appointment by the boss Rahul Gandhi.
He said that the only remedy for the “ills” plaguing IYC is that Rahul Gandhi is absent and shielded by faceless coatrie should personally interfere in the system without depending on faceless coatrie.
“He should become independent and not hide and come out of the (coatrie’s) people’s influence , he has no idea about the grassroots. I feel he should not listen to their suggestions, he has to take expert ideas from past and former youth leaders who have a lot of experience with the grassroots,” Chamala said.
Wishing Shakisinh Gohil to be long live and healthy …….and always be a leader of opposition only………..till death….(applicable for all congress leaders)

Very sad and pained to read some of the comments.In our anxiety and enthusiasm to prove loyality to a particular party ( BJP / Congress), we forget the ethics of life and start commenting any nonsense we like.I never knew people can scoop so low. I am 100 % sure Mr Modi himself will be wishing Mr Gohil to recover speedily or else he would not have paid a visit to him instantly.If one wants to follow Mr Modi, one has to think like him as well i.e sportingly

In a democracy there will be number of political parties.It is upto an individual to decide whom to favour and vote for. BJP is popular in Gujarat because of the outstanding work carried out by Mr Modi. People have reaped high dividends of the hard work being done by Mr Modi and they rightly continue to vote for him.But at the same time, it is not fair to say whatever rubbish one likes about the opposition leaders. A democracy can only survive with good and strong opposition. The ruling party is always on its toes when there is tough opposition and ultimately it benefits the people.In case of Gujarat, Mr Modi has time and again proved his mettle and hence people wish that he continues forever. There is nothing wrong in it, but what is objectionable is the derogatory remarks passed against anyone, irrespective of political parties.
