3 feared dead, 4 rescued as tug boat sinks after blast in Gulf of Cambay off Gujarat coast

Bhavnagar: Three people are feared dead as a tug boat on which they were aboard drowned after a blast in it in the gulf of Cambay at around 15 nautical miles from Ghogha coast in Bhavanagar district of Gujarat, police said.
A total of 7 crew members were on board the tug boat Varun. 4 of them were somehow rescued while 3 others who drowned were still missing, a marine police official said.
The boat reportedly had taken diesel cans for refueling of a bigger ship.

Two tugs were sent for rescue mission from Ghogha.
