ADC bank director and chairman’s names also in chargesheet

CBI spokesperson Harsh Bhal in his statement before the media on Friday evening said:

“The CBI has filed a chargesheet today against 15 accused additional Chief Judicial Magistrate 120/b, 342, 364, 365, 368, 384, 302, 201 in the encounter of Sohrabuddin and brutally killing his wife Kausarbi.”

“These accused persons are DIG of Police, 2 SP, 2 DSP, 3 PI, 3 PSI, DCP Ahmedabad crime, Minister of state for Home, Chairman ADC bank and Director ADC bank.”

“The CBI has not found adequate evidence against three accused persons who were earlier sent for trial These are: Ajay Parmar ATS, Santaram Sharma ATS, VA Rathor, ATS Ahmedabad are not included in chargesheet.”

“CBI therefore did not include them in chargesheet.”

“The Minister of state for Home was summoned twice for his appearance before CBI but he didn’t appear and hence chargesheet was filed without examination.”
