CBI denies to give questionnaire to Shah:Anticipatory bail next option
Gandhinagar, DeshGujarat, 23 July 2010
Gujarat Minister of state Amit Shah’s lawyer may file anticipatory bail application by today evening, according to his lawyer Mitesh Amin.
Shah’s representative and lawyer Mitesh Amin today reached CBI office and demanded more time for his client. He also demanded questionnaire prepared by CBI to interrogate Amit Shah.
“We demanded questionnaire from CBI, as the issue is very old and so Mr. Shah can answer properly as per the records, but they – the CBI officials said they don’t feel it necessary,” Shah’s lawyer Amit Shah told media persons outside the CBI office.
Amin said:” I will meet my client and inform him about CBI’s stand. We have option to move a court for demanding anticipatory bail.”
