Nose-wheel problem in plane:Air traffic disrupts in Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad, DeshGujarat, 23 July 2010
The Ahmedabad-Indore flight 9W 2510 of Jet Airways with 65 persons aboard including 55 passengers, faced problem in nose-wheel while landing at the Ahmedabad airport at around 8:54 pm on Thursday.
The pilots managed to stop the plane somehow, but not at proper place. The plane stopped at obstructing position on the runway, blocking any other flight operation at the airport.
Passengers and crew members were later deplaned and taken to terminal. All are safe and unhurt. However all scheduled flights to and from Ahmedabad airports couldn’t operate here for as many as 2 am as procedure to repair and pull out the plane proved very time consuming.
