According to Shah’s advocate Nirupam Nanavati, the court will announce its final decision on Shah’s bail on 2 August. This means, Shah will have to be in jail at least till 2nd August. On CBI’s application about interrogation of Shah inside jail, Shah’s lawyers told court that though CBI didn’t interrogate him from January till now, they don’t oppose interrogation, but there should be no interrogation taking place before CBI submits chargesheet’s copy to Shah.

The court permitted CBI for interrogation of Shah between 28 to 30th of July with video recording between 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
