Amit Shah is now backed by the best lawyers of India and Gujarat

If party’s support and peoples support boosted moral of Amit Shah yesterday, it was turn of India’s most celebrated lawyer’s support today for Shah who is lodged in Sabarmati jail in Ahmedabad.

Shah’s case is now being fought by none other but India’s one of the most senior and successful lawyer Shri Ram Jethmalani.

Shri Jethmalani(87) took oath as Rajya Sabha member in Delhi on Monday morning and then immediately rushed to Delhi airport to catch a flight to Ahmedabad. Jethmalani arrived at city’s Mirzapur court campus in car with Amit Shah’s son Jay Shah.

As there was a sudden trouble of power failure, Shri Jethmalani at the age of 87, started using steps and went to fourth floor to attend Shah’s case.

Jethmalani raised logical points for Shah’s bail and demanded a copy of chargesheet. Jethmalani also sought that Shah’s investigation should be done only after he receives a chargesheet. Shah also wanted his client’s investigation to be done only under video camera. While other three demands of Jethmalani were accepted, the bail application decision will be out on 2nd August.

Jethmalani told the court that even Supreme Court had observed in several cases and had said that nowadays CBI’s prestige is not as good as it was several years back.

Also present for Amit Shah, was Gujarat’s one of the senior and successful most lawyer Shri Nirupam Nanavati. While Jethmalani didn’t talk to media, Nanavati briefed them.
