With legally weak case, CBI appeals for Shah’s remand in High Court
Ahmedabad, DeshGujarat, 5 August, 2010

CBI today went to the Gujarat High Court against CBI Special court verdict of not awarding CBI a custodial remand of former minister of state for Home Shri Amit Shah.
CBI’s case is considered weak, as Shah is already charge sheeted. Also because Shah has already been interrogated in judicial remand.
When CBI had opportunity to investigate Shah in first 24 hours of his arrest, CBI didn’t ask for remand, and didn’t investigate him. Then when CBI was given three days time to investigate Shah in Judicial custody, the CBI interrogated him only for three-four hours. There are no direct evidences too against Shah.
Thus CBI’s case is weak.
