Ahmedabad, DeshGujarat, 8 August, 2010

So, former minister of state for Home Shri Amit Shah’s two-day custodial remand concludes finally. Now, what’s next?
According to legal eagles, the next battle in Amit Shah case is his bail application.
Shah has already filed his bail application in CBI special court at Ahmedabad, where it will be heard by Judge Mr. Upadhyaya.
It is almost clear that the battle for bail will go to High Court and possibly even to Supreme Court, from either party.
As Shah’s two-day custodial remand concluded today, he was presented to Judge Shri A.Y.Dave at his residence. Judge asked Shah whether he had any complain against CBI? Shah denied any complain against CBI. He was sent to Judicial custody then till 21 August.
Shah’s two-day remand concluded earlier than scheduled time. CBI team could grill Shah up to Monday morning, but they concluded custodial remand at around 6 pm on Sunday only.
