Gujarat govt to digitize late Umashankar Joshi’s Sanskruti magazine

Poet Umashankar Joshi’s birth century celebration committee chaired by minister Vajubhai Vala today met in Gandhinagar. Education minister, Cultural activities minister, Education Secretary, and others were present in this meeting.
According to Bhagyeshbhai Jha, Secretary Youth and cultural activities, a music CD of Shri Umashankar Joshi will be prepared. A documentary film will also be made. Social dramas written by him will be performed in educational institutes and theatres. Auditoriums, libraries, important roads will be named after the late poet. Competitions including elocution, poetry, essays, literature quiz etc will be organized across the state. Sanskruti magazine edited by him will be digitized.
