BJP MP Kirit Solanki’s office sealed in AMC drive

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation team today sealed 88 shops/offices of Maninagar based Vijay Plaza building including an office of Ahmedabad(West) Member of Parliament Kirit Solanki. Sources told DeshGujarat that Solanki had vacated his office on the eve of sealing procedure.

Vijay Plaza has been sealed for violation of fire safety norms. Vijay Plaza has residential floors also, however at this point the sealing procedure has been executed in commercial portion of the building.

The AMC teams also sealed shops and offices of Hemkut building on Ashram road on Monday.

AMC official Balat told media that once the buildings implement fire safety system and obtain NOC from fire authority, they will be unsealed.
