You heard it right:Narendra Modi govt promotes Rajdip Sardesai

This news(if it is news at all) is only for those Narendra Modi fans who oppose, hate and criticize CNN-IBN news channel Editor Rajdip Sardesai for a reason that Sardesai always spits venom against Modi.

So the news is that Rajdip Sardesai is coming to Ahmedabad on 18th December to give a lecture on ‘Media’s social responsibility in today’s time.’ The lecture is organized by Bhaskar group and the event is sponsored by Narendra Modi Government.

Yes you heard it right. Modi government’s two profit making PSUs – Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation(GSPC) and Gujarat Maritime Board(GMB) have sponsored the event that has single agenda of Rajdip Sardesai’s public address on the subject given above. Both these entities are governed by IAS babus, but departmentwise they fall directly under Chief Minister Narendra Modi who is holding the ministry of Ports(GMB comes under this), and Petrochemicals(GSPC). The third sponsor of the event is GAIL which is Gujarat based central governmet organization.

So all those on Twitter and Facebook who spend their hours and hours criticizing Rajdip Sardesai – for what they think his Modi bashing and anti-right wing stand – may now rethink about whether they should continue hating, criticizing, or disliking him, because none other but Mr. Modi is sponsoring his speech event in the heart of Gujarat. If this is part of Modi’s ‘Saam, Daam, Dand, Bhed’, is it fine then for his fans? It would be interesting to see. One would not easily believe that this is just another sponsorship.
