The fashion show was organized in Ahmedabad’s Cama hotel campus. Total 11 ladies had participated in it. At the end of the event, Rs.40000 were generated. Of this Rs.10000 were paid for the expenses of the event. Rs. 30000 were donated to V.S.hospital and Rs.5000 were utilized for creation of Gujarat Cancer Society.
Seven women who participated in year 1960’s fashion show are alive today. Some of them are now likely to participate in Gujarat Cancer Society’s 18 December fund raiser event at Karnavati club in vintage costumes.
