President leaves Diu, reaches Goa for part two of her vacation

President Pratibha Patil concluded her Diu vacation before time and went to Goa continuing her vacation with her family.

The President was to leave Diu on 7 January according to earlier announced schedule of her vacation, but two days back in Diu only she decided to spend part of her vacation in Goa. Thus she left Diu in Indian Air Force chopper today and arrived at Bhavnagar airport from where a special aircraft took her to Goa with her family.

According to PTI report, Patil will spend four days in Goa in private visit. She will be visiting several tourist places during her stay. She would be visiting a five-star resort at Benaulim in South Goa on January 4 and will spend time on the beach according to report. Patil is expected to attend a private function at Colva, a beach village in South Goa and is also likely to visit world heritage monuments in Old Goa.
