Political Stability made our journey wonderful in Gujarat:Adani

Speaking at Vibrant Gujarat global summit, Adani group Chairman Gautam Adani said his group is signing MoU to invest more than Rs. 80000 crore in infrastructure, ports and power sector of Gujarat.

Adani said his group is in process to develop two ports at Hazira and Dholera. The expansion works at Mundra and Dahej port will take them to 2000 million tonnes annual handling capacity by year 2015

“We have commissioned 2000 MW power project in Mundra, and additional 6000 mw will be added by march 2012,” Adani added.

Adani said his group’s Dahej, Dholera and Bhadreshwar power projects in Gujarat will generate 15000 mw power by 2015 in total.

He said the group has completed Rs. 35000 crore works committed in Vibrant summit of year 2007 – 2009 MOU.

He said, “our journey in Gujarat has been wonderful and successful thanks to political stability and transparent system here. Thanks to Narendrabhai and team, this contributed immensely to our progress. Narendrabhai’s inspiration developed courage in us, and it was his influence that made us ambitious to go to Indonesia and Australia expanding our horizon.”
