Modhera sun temple will once again witness two-day long Uttaradh Mahotsav during this weekend. The Uttaradh Mahotsav is organized every year soon after 14 January – Uttarayan festival.

Organized jointly by Gujarat government’s Sports, Youth cultural activity department , Mahesana district Collector, and West zone cultural centre(Udaipur), the Uttaradh festival will this host Yasminsinh’s Odisi dance, Aartsisinh’s Kathak, and Shrimati Supriya Mishra’s Odisi dance. The event will kick off at 7.30 pm in presence of minister Fakirbhai Vaghela, MP Jayshreeben Patel, District Panchayat President Jayantibhai, MLA Anilbhai Patel, Bharatsinh Dabhi and Rajnibhai.

On second day of the festival Menka thakkar will present Bharat Natyam while Shrimati Aishwarya Variyar will present Mohini Attam dance. The event will kick off at 7.30 pm in presence of state minister Nitinbhai Patel, MP Natuji Thakor, MLA Rushikesh Patel, Naranbhai Patel, Kantibhai Patel and Jashodaben Parmar.
